Summary
|
Ohwun De Maal was a male Duros who lived during the Galactic Civil War. For thousands of years, the peaceful Duros have been exploring new worlds and hauling cargo across space. With this heritage, Madak could hardly avoid his skills as a pilot and navigator. Although Duros tended to be a peaceful species, the Empire's restrictive trade practices prompted Maal to leave his government job and become a freelance flight instructor and occasional smuggler. Along with his wife, Chachi De Maal, the pair owned Capital YV-series freighther, Millanti, which they used to smuggle bacta to the Rebel Alliance, hiding it inside the depleted fusion generator supply tanks.Owhun and his wife were both in Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina during Luke Skywalker's fateful encounter with Han Solo.Maals dealt with shady characters on a frequent basis, using several aliases. Among the ones Ohwun used was Ellorrs Mada, who was never seen without his respective partner, Baniss Keeg, the alias Chachi used.
